Change of date:
If you require to postpone/reschedule your wedding date then I will honour to reschedule your booking/deposit for one date if available.If I am unavailable for the rescheduled date then I will help to arrange another recommended Makeup Artist to carry out your services. In this case the non refundable deposit paid at time of booking will be retained to cover time reserved and administrative costs.

Reduction in number of bookings:
Once a booking is confirmed, the total number of makeup applications agreed is considered final. If the Bride decides to reduce the number of makeups after booking, the full payment for the originally agreed number of services remains due unless the vacated slot(s) can be filled by another member of wedding. It is the responsibility of the Bride to let to inform me as early as possible if changes are required. No refunds or deductions will be issued.

Trials:
• Trials are highly recommended for the Bride.
• Trials can also be booked for any other member of the wedding party.
• Trials are priced from £70 per person, per trial.
• Trials last approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. A consultation and 1 full look will be carried out in this time, If you require to try more
   than 1 look you will have to book in for another trial(s) Trials are recommended to be carried out between 6 - 12 weeks before the
   wedding day.
• Trials are held within my Studio located within Wilson Business Park in Hillington.
• Photographs and notes will be taken at your trial(s) for reference.

Service location & Requirements:
The location of the makeup services on the day will be at the Brides discretion. I will arrive 15mins prior to scheduled starting time on the day to set up. A clear table/work area, chair and plug socket must be made available, preferably in the best natural lighting. Please communicate the address/hotel room/lodge number etc prior to my arrival by text / email if applicable.

Travel & Accommodation for Early Start / Out-of-Hours Services:
For bookings that require a start time before 6:00 AM or are located a significant distance from my base, additional charges may apply to cover early call-out, travel, and/or accommodation costs.

Early Start Fee:
A surcharge may be applied for bookings requiring services to begin before 6:00 AM. this will be discussed and agreed upon during booking confirmation.

Travel Fees:
Travel expenses will be charged for locations beyond a 2 hour drive. This will be calculated based on distance and current mileage rates or transport costs.

Accommodation:
If the location requires extensive travel, or if the start time necessitates an overnight stay to ensure timely arrival, suitable accommodation must be provided by the client or the cost of accommodation must be covered in advance.

All additional costs will be clearly communicated and agreed upon at the time of booking.

Delays:
Please be prepared to start when I arrive as scheduled. All clients receiving a makeup service should have a clean bare face & be ready to start. This is very important so we can stay on schedule, and I can finish applications for your chosen time. A schedule will be created for the Bride and sent over beforehand for reference. I can work with your hairstylist in coordinating the schedule on the day.

Photography, Social Media & Website:
Photos taken at trials or on your wedding day by myself or professional photographs from your photographer may be used as examples of my work for future clients to view and on my social media/website to advertise my services. Your photographer will receive credit where appropriate. You agree and give me consent to me using these photos.

Liability:
I take hygiene very importantly and all brushes and products used are kept sanitary. Any skin conditions or sensitivities of the client(s) should be reported to myself prior to application and where needed a sample test of makeup may be required on skin. I will not hold Katie Hellier responsible for any allergic reactions.

Responsibility of Katie Hellier Makeup:
In the event that Katie Hellier cannot perform the agreed Makeup services due to unforeseen circumstances or any other cause beyond my control, all payments excluding trial makeups shall be returned to the client and I will help to arrange another recommended Makeup Artist to carry out your services. If the Makeup Artist feels uncomfortable, threatened or verbally abused in any way, they will have the right to leave the premises without completing the services.

Weather or Acts of Nature:
In the event of severe weather conditions or other acts of nature beyond the Makeup Artist’s control (including floods, heavy snow, hurricanes, storms, blizzards, wildfires or any other unsafe travel conditions) prevent the Makeup Artist from safely travelling to the location, the Makeup Artist shall not be held liable for non-performance

The non refundable deposit paid at time of booking will be retained to cover time reserved and administrative costs. If the Makeup Artist makes a safe attempt to travel to the location but does not succeed then travel/time will be deducted from the refund of final balance for non performance of services.

If the wedding is rescheduled due to weather related conditions, The Makeup Artist will make every reasonable effort to accommodate the new date. If the Makeup Artist is available, all payments made (including deposit) will be applied to the rescheduled date.

If the Makeup Artist is unavailable for the rescheduled date then will help to arrange another recommended Makeup Artist to carry out your services. The non refundable deposit paid at time of booking will be retained to cover time reserved and administrative costs.
